Event Details
- Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025
- Place: Renfro Valley Entertainment Center, Mt. Vernon, KY
- 6K Run/ 2-Mile Walk to begin at 8:30 a.m. EST
- Race-day registration to begin at 7:50 a.m.
- $25 pre-registration fee – deadline Wednesday, Nov. 19
- $30 registration fee from Nov. 20 through 8:15 a.m. race day
- Race 12 of 12 in the 2025 County-Wide Stride race series
Course
The 6K Run/Walk highlights historic Renfro Valley. Aid and water station will be located at the turnaround. Officials will direct and supervise the course. The Run/Walk will start and finish at the Renfro Valley Entertainment Center.

- Hospitality area with refreshments and snacks
- Costume Contest: award will be given for the best holiday-themed costume.
Awards
- Overall male and female race winner and top three male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 12-under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79, 80+
- Top three male and female walkers (walkers also eligible for age group awards)
- Please note: to be fair to competitive walkers, if you plan to register as a walker, you must walk the entire race. If you plan on running and walking, please register as a runner.
Free Kids Club
- Kids age 4-12 run FREE! No shirt included in registration, but may be added on for additional fee.
- Kids will receive a commemorative silicone bracelet each race! Collect 7 bracelets to receive a $25 gift card and custom Kids Club t-shirt at the end of the 2025 series!
- Kids must run or walk – no strollers – to be eligible for awards and incentives. (Age group awards for runners only)
