Join us for ConnectAbility of MN’s Break the Barrier 5K & 1K for every body. This inclusive event is geared towards the whole family. Whether you're running, walking, rolling, or strolling, this event is about breaking down barriers and building a supportive community.
Tours & Vendors
- Our building will be open to the public for tours of our Assistive Technology & Mobility Lab
- The event parking lot will have free snacks, water, and community resource booths.
Early Bird Signup – Free Shirt
- Free event shirts will be provided to all 5K and 1K participants who register by May 15, 2026.
Free Medals
- Medals will be given to all participants at the finishline
Check In
- On day of event please arrive 15 – 20 minutes before your event start time.
5K Run starts at 8:00am
5K Walk starts at – 9:00am
1K starts at – 10:00am,
- At the event tent, you will sign in and receive your t-shirt (if applicable) and bib.
1K Chalk Paths
Colorful chalk paths will cover half the width of the 1K event route. Following chalk paths is optional.
