Wendy's Walk/Run for Hope will take place at 10 AM on October 11, 2025 on the Conotton Creek Trail in Jewett. Flat and fast 5k utilizing a local rails to trails path. Money raised goes to help offset the expenses of women and men diagnosed with breast cancer. Competitive walkers & runners welcome as well as casual walkers & runners.
History:
Started in 2012 by Wendy Ledger to give back to the community that helped her through her breast cancer journey. She was diagnosed with stage 3 Breast cancer in 2008 and survived the battle of her life. It started simply as a 5k and now includes food vendors, a car show, and a quarter auction.
T-Shirts:
We offer Adult Small to X-Large along with a No T-Shirt option. Register early for preregistered participants to get a t-shirt, we will have extra available but selections will be limited as we get closer to our event date. Guaranteed T-Shirt entries before 10/1!
