The Ghost Race PVD, powered by Red Bull is an unsanctioned, checkpoint-to-checkpoint street race through Providence. This is pure strategy and speed with no set course and no limits.
The Ghost Race is built to appear and disappear in a flash, leaving nothing behind but results.
How it Works:
- Runners gather at Start/Finish Location (India Point Park Steps, 201 India Street, Providence)
- There is no "official" course. Runners will run from the start to Checkpoint 1, receiving their "token" before heading to Checkpoint 2, receiving the second "token," then race back to the finish line.
- Checkpoints are revealed 30 minutes before race time, giving you a narrow window to plan your route.
- Route will be approximately 5K
The top three finishers in each race win cash.
Payouts are $250 for 1st, $150 for 2nd, and $75 for 3rd (based on race sell out).
Every registration includes a drink ticket for the Red Bull after party, where the celebration begins once the racing ends.
This is an unsanctioned, open course street race.
- Roads are not closed to traffic. There are no traffic crossings. Participants should remain vigilant and follow traffic rules.

- Run responsibly, and stay aware of potential hazards of running in the city.
