Contra Costa Humane Society is excited to bring our annual fundraiser, Walk for Paws, to the Town of Danville!
Join us for a dog-friendly community walk to raise funds and awareness for the lifesaving work we do for homeless animals throughout Contra Costa County. This family- and pet-friendly event not only supports animals in need but also celebrates Danville as a vibrant, dog-loving destination.
Event Schedule
- 8:30 AM – Check-in begins at the Danville Community Center (420 Front Street).
- 9:30 AM – The walk kicks off! Journey down the Walk for Paws Loop through historic Downtown Danville, at your own pace, before circling back to Hartz Avenue and the official Treat Trail merchant open house stroll. We encourage all participants to shop, stroll and dine at local dog friendly merchants and CCHS Partners.
After the Walk: Treat Trail Fun
Explore the Treat Trail along Hartz Avenue! Bring your doggy bag to participating local merchants who will offer treats and Treat Trail specials during their open house.

$95 per foursome
After September 22:
- $40 per person
- $120 per foursome
Each registration includes a CCHS drawstring swag bag for every participant filled with goodies from local sponsors and business partners.*
