Lace up and join us for a 5K Run and 2-Mile Walk honoring the legacy of compassion and care of our founder, Papa Bear. Celebrate health, hope, and community with family activities like a costume contest, music, and warm-up sessions before the race — all while raising vital funds for the San Antonio AIDS Foundation. Your steps help provide free HIV/STI testing, medical care, nutritious meals, housing, and support services for people in need. Give Thrive youth the chance to join The Great Bear Run. When you purchase a 'Sponsor Thrive’s Youth' ticket on our website, that registration will go directly to a Thrive Youth Center youth. This provides LGBTQ youth a safe way to take part in this recreational and inclusive event, with their privacy and well-being protected.
