Taylor Ranch Elementary School is excited for the return of Shoot for the Stars 5k on February 22, 2025!
A great morning event with something for everyone! Chip-timed 5K with awards suitable for all ages and all levels. And a great post-race celebration.
Your 5K race swag includes:
- Custom Shoot for the Stars finisher medal for the 5K finishers!
- Custom Short-Sleeve Race Shirt. (Subject to availability, style and color may change)
Shirt deadline: End of January. After this time, shirts or sizes are not guaranteed and will be limited to what is available to choose on RunSignUp.
Advance Packet Pickup: Taylor Ranch Elementary School (2500 Taylor Ranch Trail, Venice, FL 34293) on the Thursday before the race, 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
***Upon completion of the run any shirts not picked up will be available to trade***
No medals will be saved post race. If packets /shirts/medals are not picked up you will be forfeiting them.

Our Cause: Taylor Ranch School has a long-standing history of community service and giving back to our Venice community. This year's event will help set our current and former students up for success.
- We are funding senior scholarships for former TRS Trailblazers who have continued their commitment to community throughout high school.
- Our main fundraising goal is to secure two interventionists for the 2025-2026 school year. Interventionists work directly with students to reach grade-level mastery in both reading and math. Their expertise and time is of great benefit to our teachers and students!
