The 5th annual running of the Santa's! 12/13/25
Weather updates!
**Due to the snow storm moving in on Thursday night the city has informed us that our scheduled road closures have been cancelled. That being said we are forced to alter the course to be an “out and back” on the bike path for this year.
This is the safest option for our runners.
**We will still be starting and ending at Gravel Road Brewing.
If the snow is significant you should expect the bike path to be snow covered, so please wear the appropriate clothing/shoes for your planned race. Your shoes will get wet. We will mark the path with orange flags and arrow signs.
The current weather forecast shows another snow storm moving in on Saturday, in the afternoon/evening. We still plan to move forward with the race as long as this forecast holds true.
If this storm moves up to morning hours we will notify you via email of any race changes/updates.
**Also note that if the Saturday snow does come early and it causes the declaration of a snow emergency in our area, the race will be cancelled. We will notify you via email.

This year we are bigger and better than ever! A 1 mile and 5k! Through historic downtown Middletown.
Come to run dressed as the big guy and stay a while to enjoy the ice rink, restaurants and shopping specials downtown! This year the Santa's will line up at the Gravel Road Brewing Company! Take off from the Brewery and jump on the bike path, before looping back through one of Downtown Middletown's most beautiful and historic neighborhoods on South Main Street!
Every participant will receive a Santa hat, unique keepsake Christmas ornament, and a "Hot Drink" ticket from the coffee Truck!
We would love to see all our runners dressed up as Santa, and of course there is a prize for the jolliest looking Santa at the event!
Our fastest Santa's in the 5k, male and female will be awarded!
We knew we couldn't have a bunch of Santa's running around without providing his favorite snack! Therefore to keep all you Santa's fueled properly, our elves have stocked up for a milk and cookie aid station! Located at the turn around for the 1 milers, water will be available also.
Toys For Tots will be there collecting donations of toys or monetary donations! The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
For our adult Santa's Gravel Road Brewing will have Half off your first beer!
The registration fee is $25 now through Nov 29th!
Increases to $30 on Nov 30th!

Parking:
-parking area is limited at the brewery but there is plenty of free parking available across the street beside and behind the Sorg Opera House Theatre 63 S Main Street.
