Start and finish in Downtown Pleasanton on Main Street. Wear a costume if you would like!
5K/10K starts at 8:30 a.m. 5K and 10K events are timed; awards will be presented to overall winners as well as to top finishers in each age group. Kids Challenge (new 1/4 mile distance, plus a 100 yard dash) starts at 10:00 am. Kids ages 12 and under are welcome to participate.
DryBlend short sleeved t-sleeve shirts for 5K-10K participants with option to upgrade to a long sleeve technical shirt for $7.00. Kids Challenge entry includes a short sleeve DryBlend t-shirt. Participants may opt out of t-shirt if they wish.
To celebrate our 32nd running of this event, finisher medals will be awarded to all 5K, 10K, and Kid's Race participants.
Proceeds
Proceeds support scholarships for Pleasanton students and community & international projects of The Rotary Club of Pleasanton.
Leashed Dogs
Well-behaved dogs are permitted in the 5K or 10K; all dogs must start in the back of the pack at the starting line, be on a non-retractable leash, and be cleaned up after by their human. Dogs attending the event should be comfortable in crowds as well as around other dogs.
Strollers
Strollers are allowed in both the 5K and 10K; we ask that you start towards the back.
Packet Pick Up
Pre-race Packet Pick Up will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 – at Fleet Feet Pleasanton (234 Main Street) from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. Participants may also pick up their bib and tshirt on race morning (10/26) near the start/finish line starting at 7 am and continuing through 8:15 am (through 9:45 am for Kids Challenge entrants).
Photo ID is not required to pick up packets and you may pick up for friends or family.
In-Person Registration
Participants may register in-person at Packet Pick Up (Saturday, October 25, time and place TBA) or on race morning (Sunday, October 26, 7:00 am to 8:20 am at the start/finish area adjacent to Workbench Hardware – 652 Main Street, Pleasanton). Those registering in-person may present payment in the forms of debit/credit card or cash. Personal checks are not accepted.
Awards & Age Groups
Custom medals will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K in each age group. Overall winners will also receive a prize. Age groups are: 10K / 13 and Under, 14-18 yrs., 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. 5K age groups are: 9 and under, 10-13 yrs., 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
