3rd Annual Foley Sister Cities Oktoberfest 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk – Presented by WAS Design
The Foley Sister Cities Commission invites you to join us for our 3rd Annual Oktoberfest 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk! This USATF Certified 5K course takes place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at OWA on the Island, with an 8:00 AM start. Oktoberfest costume contest for all participants. The post-race celebration features DJ music, brats, and beer for participants.
Proceeds support Foley Sister Cities’ cultural programs, including student exchanges between Hennef, Germany and Foley, Alabama.
Packet Pickup Options:
Race Morning: 6:30–7:30 AM at OWA on the Island
Early Packet Pickup: Friday, October 3, 4–7 PM at Baumhower’s Victory Grill, Tanger Outlet Mall – Raffle for the first 50 guests at Early Packet Pickup event
Awards for the Run are presented 3 deep in each age group (Male & Female – 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+) as well as Male & Female Overall, Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Grand Masters.
Awards for the Walk are presented 3 deep in each age group (Male & Female – 10 & under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).
