This 5k race will help raise awareness and funds for patients with lupus. There are approximately 55,000 Georgians living with lupus. The funds raised ensures the chapter continues to provide essential programs for lupus patients and caregivers. The chapter also supports the national research efforts for research and advocating lupus. There are seven statewide symposium, newly diagnosed seminars, teleconference series and monthly support group meetings.
