The Journey to ExSCellence 5K seeks to amplify the voice of Sickle Warriors, raise awareness and educate communities about Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) and the challenges those affected by it face. This 5K Walk/Run allows participants to learn more about the disease, be inspired by the Journey of Sickle Cell Warriors, and greater sense of community as we come together with a goal to Recognize the Challenges and Celebrate the Excellence of SCD Warriors. All funds raised are tax deductible and used to support JTE's initiatives that bring awareness, advocacy, services, and events for adults with SCD and their caregivers.
