Come join us to celebrate the access/disability community and raise money for spinal cord injury rehabilitation and awareness.
My name is Kenny White III. On November 15 of 2023, I suffered a Burst fracture to my C6 vertebrae. After emergency surgery I woke up a quadriplegic. After months of rehabilitation and hard work, by the grace of God I was able to get the use of my legs back 100%. I decided I wanted to start running again and my wife encouraged me to start a 5K.
God gave me a second chance. I hope I can inspire others to get better and never stop fighting. Everybody has their own struggles and their own scars. Life isn’t perfect, but it sure is beautiful.
Come run with me, my family, and friends!
Together we can make a difference 🙂

2025 Recap
From the very beginning, the outpouring of support for this race has been unbelievable.
Like so many of our race partners, I never approached Rusler Produce for help. They heard about the race, the mission, and the celebration of the resilient human spirit— and they stepped up to help.
Mike Lening with American Medical Response saw the story with Dianne Christine on KOAA 5 and reached out to support at the highest level.
Every time I felt discouraged, more support seemed to pour in. I was literally considering calling it a success and keeping it to one year… and then the Brian Mayer & Charnell Hall Mayer called, saying they wanted Thornton Medical to support as a Presenting Sponsor.
UCHealth getting involved from the beginning! Especially Carrie Gruytch-Kirk the Spine Team.
People from all walks of life reached out — however they could.
@Print Pros: banners Anthony Velasquez & Sheena Velasquez
316 Designs, LLC: shirts Heath Adler
I ran into Kris Bower & Joe Bower out training. Joe said, “Call me — we want to support.”
Kim Archuletta- Pueblo County Treasurer & Public Trustee stepping up as an Accessibility Champion
And the list goes on. I hate leaving anyone out, because truly… (please forgive me if I do)
My dreams for this race were made possible by the people who believed in me.
Every name on the shirt.
Every donor from $10 to $1,000.
It’s hard to ask for money.
It’s hard to build something — especially something that’s never been done before, at least not the way it exists in your mind and in your vision.
But when you call people and they say, “How can I help?” or “Here’s what I can do,”
that’s how an idea becomes a movement.
Come Run With Us isn’t just a saying.
It’s a mantra.
We’re doing this together.
We’re running together.
We’re building something together.
This race is about all abilities and disabilities.
The Break Your Neck Walk, Run, or Roll is about getting back up when you’ve been knocked down.
It’s about the resilient fire inside all of us that refuses to die.
I can’t wait for 3.0.
I can’t wait to see where this goes.
1000+ walk, run, or rollers???
