5K Fun Run/Walk for All Ages
We are excited to be holding the City of Alameda's third Pride Event! We had so much fun the last 3 years and we are back to do it again! The weekend's event will include a 5K Fun Run/Walk through the streets of Alameda, fun and colorful outfits are encouraged! This year's event will not be timed, we are just out to have fun and support a great organization. The fun will start and end at the Elks Lodge at 2255 Santa Clara Avenue in Alameda. All participants will receive a t-shirt, water, and snacks which will be provided by Alameda Starbucks. There will be prizes for the top finishers. This event will be the start of Saturday's fun-filled day which includes, music, dancing along the streets & parks of Downtown Alameda.
Support from this race will help with inclusivity, diversity & support for our community. This will include amazing things such as anti-bullying programs & GSA's in schools, LGBTQ+ scholarships, and local LGBTQ+ businesses/organizations/programs, the Queer Teen Alameda Center and much more.
Registration begins at 8:00am at the Alameda Elks Lodge.
