The Human Race 5K

Join the Human Race on August 19th!
Humanitarian Social Innovations (HSI) invites you to join The Human Race — a virtual event with no physical location – you can run, walk or ride on your own or make it a group activity by gathering your family, friends and community. Why August 19th*? Because it's World Humanitarian Day, a global observance honoring everyday heroes who uplift others through acts of compassion.
 
* Run, Walk or Ride your distance anytime between August 1st and August 19th. This gives you plenty of time to complete your event, with two weekend options! 
 
HSI provides support to charitable programs that improve the quality of life for humanity throughout the Lehigh Valley and the world. Every Day. By participating in The Human Race you’ll join HSI and their 100+ programs in a worldwide movement of supporting good people and programs, by running, walking and riding together.

How To Register:

Choose an Event: 5K Run, 5K Walk or the 10K Ride; and then click "Sign Up"

Fill in Registrant Information: If you have a RunSignUp account and are logged in, your information will auto-populate. If you are new to RunSignUp, enter the requested information to create an account. You can register for others here, too.

Confirm the proper event is selected in the "Choose Your Event" section.  Add another registrant if you like, and then click "Continue" at the bottom of the page.

Waiver: You will be prompted to sign the event waiver.  Select "Continue."

Questions: The next screen has three questions you must answer:

Human Race Finisher Medal? Y/N (guaranteed for the first 100 participants). 

Select the Team your are supporting

Check the box indicating that you understand that this is a virtual race.

Additional Donation Page: if you want to donate to a program in addition to your registration, select the program and donation amount.  Select "Continue."

Updates: Opt-in for additional event emails and instructions and select your timezone.

Payment Details: Complete your registration by hitting "Continue" and submitting a form of payment. 

You will receive a confirmation email of your event registration. 

Registration Includes:

Entry to the virtual Human Race 5K Run, 5K Walk or the 10K Ride

Finisher medal* (*guaranteed for the first 100 participants; local pickup and shipping available). 

Invitation to the Finisher Party on World Humanitarian Day, August 19, 2026. Details below.
