Virtual Outrun Lupus Run/Walk

Help us Outrun Lupus across California!  
Celebrating over 32 years of community, connection, and hope this year, we are hosting the Outrun Lupus virtually to celebrate so we can include ALL of California!   We are excited to bring awarness to lupus across the state and maybe even some other states!  Lupus patients and supporters from every corner of California can help us OUTRUN LUPUS—anytime, anywhere during the month of September!  You can choose to walk or run however far you want over the month of September!  
Proceeds from this event go towards funding our mission of Improving Lives Impacted by Lupus and allow us to continue to offer FREE Support and Education programs to lupus patients and those who love them. 
Be sure to invite your friends, family and co-workers and help us OUTRUN LUPUS!!  The more people that participate – the more people will learn about lupus!!  Create a Team and walk or run together to raise $$ for the California Lupus Foundation!
HOW TO COMPLETE YOUR VIRTUAL RUN/WALK

Register for the race (you can even print a customized bib!)
Join our Facebook Group to share and celebrate with other participants. Don't forget to follow our Facebook page too!
Run/walk at your convenience, any time, anywhere between September 01-30th, 2026
Submit your time (optional) to see how you placed overall and receive your finisher certificate.
Don't forget to sign up as a fundraiser:

Raise $125 earn an Outrun Lupus T-Shirt 
Raise $250 earn an Outrun Lupus Baseball Cap
Raise $500 earn an Outrun Lupus  Sweatshirt

You can also tag the California Lupus Foundation Facebook or Instagram account and share and celebrate with other participants.
Don't Forget!  As a virtual event you can participate anywhere and log your walk/runs throughout the month of September.  Let's try and Run/Walk across California and raise lupus awareness!
